I. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Estiaco Holidays! Estiaco Holidays operates through two separate legal entities: Estiaco Holidays Pvt Ltd (for services in Sri Lanka) and Estiaco Maldives Pvt Ltd (for services in the Maldives). These General Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern your use of our website and any inquiries or bookings for travel services made through Estiaco Holidays.

When you submit an inquiry or proceed with a booking, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge and agree to be bound by these T&Cs.

Services related to travel in Sri Lanka are provided by Estiaco Holidays Pvt Ltd. Services related to travel in the Maldives are provided by Estiaco Maldives Pvt Ltd. Your booking confirmation will specify which legal entity you are contracting with.

II. Inquiry & Booking Process

  • Inquiry: 
    • Our website provides an inquiry form for you to submit your travel preferences and contact details.
    • Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a booking.
  • Consultation & Booking: 
    • Upon receiving your inquiry, our tour consultants will contact you via email or phone to discuss your travel plans and provide personalized itineraries and quotations.
    • Bookings are finalized through direct email communication with our tour consultants, and will specify the related legal entity.
  • Booking Confirmation: 
    • A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of your confirmation email from our tour consultant.
    • This confirmation will include a detailed itinerary, total cost, and payment instructions, and will specify the legal entity with which the booking is made.

III. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: 
    • A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking upon confirmation.
    • This amount may vary depending on the season and hotel policies, and will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
  • Balance Payment: 
    • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date.
    • This timeframe may vary depending on the season and hotel policies, and will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.
  • Payment Methods: 
    • Payments can be made securely via credit and debit cards using a payment link provided by our tour consultants.
    • Estiaco Holidays will never request your credit card details directly.
  • Currency: 
    • All prices are quoted in the currency specified in your confirmation email.
    • Currency exchange rates are subject to fluctuation.
  • Invoicing: 
    • Invoices will be issued by the relevant legal entity (Estiaco Holidays Pvt Ltd or Estiaco Maldives Pvt Ltd) depending on the booked service.

IV. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Client Cancellations: 
    • Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of tour and hotel policies.
    • Specific cancellation terms will be provided in your booking confirmation email.
    • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.
    • The initial 10% deposit is non-refundable.
  • Company Cancellations: 
    • Estiaco Holidays reserves the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to force majeure or supplier issues.
    • In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative itinerary.
  • Refund Process: 
    • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, by the relevant legal entity.
    • Refund processing times may vary.

V. Travel Documents & Insurance

  • Travel Documents: 
    • You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents, including passports and visas.
    • We recommend checking visa requirements with the relevant embassy or consulate.
  • Travel Insurance: 
    • Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
    • This should cover medical expenses, trip cancellation, and baggage loss.

VI. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Limitation of Liability: 
    • Estiaco Holidays acts as a booking agent and tour operator, arranging travel services with third-party suppliers, including hotels and transportation companies.
    • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the travel services provided directly by the relevant legal entity (Estiaco Holidays Pvt Ltd or Estiaco Maldives Pvt Ltd).
    • We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, political unrest, natural disasters, or force majeure.
  • Third-Party Services: 
    • We facilitate bookings with hotels, transportation companies, and other suppliers to provide a comprehensive travel experience.

VII. Client Responsibilities

  • Conduct: 
    • You are expected to conduct yourself responsibly and respectfully during your travels.
    • We reserve the right to terminate a tour if your behavior is disruptive.
  • Health: 
    • You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit for travel.
    • Consult your doctor for any necessary vaccinations or health precautions.
  • Information: 
    • You are responsible for providing accurate information during the booking process.

VIII. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website is the property of Estiaco Holidays and may not be used without our permission.

IX. Governing Law

  • These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and in the case of services provided by Estiaco Maldives Pvt Ltd, by the laws of Maldives.

X. Amendments

  • Estiaco Holidays reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time.
  • Changes will be posted on this page.
